Are you constantly thinking of things you can do for your friends? Do you send them a gift, make them a meal, what do you do? I think the best thing you can do for your friends is pray for them. Prayers that I constantly pray for my friends (in addition to specific prayers they need)
Dear God,
Let my friend know she matters. Nudge her. Hug her. Show up for her in a way that let’s her know she is seen. Hold her hand. Keep her going. Push her along. Let her rest. Ease her mind. Keep her heart close to yours Lord. Give me the strength and guidance to lift her up, make her laugh, and let her know she’s got something worth giving. Father, remind her that this world is more beautiful because she is here and she is making a difference to her friends and family, to strangers she comes in contact with, and even to future generations. Heavenly Father, sing your praises in her ear and pour your undeniable, unwavering, unstoppable goodness over her. Father God, my friend has a purpose. She was made with intention and nothing, not a single detail about her life is an accident. Lord, help her live out her purpose for your glory, and let her know she has a seat in your kingdom as a precious Child of God. Father I pray that you will protect her, provide for her, cover her, teach her, mold her, direct her, change her, and show up for her in crazy ways. Most of all God….Love her! Allow her to find/feel joy, peace, and comfort in you Lord. Father, teach her to love like Jesus…….because it is in His name that I pray all of this for my friend.
